\"\"Our Creche is a facility which is used by our little ones who are at The Blue Umbrella Preschool and also other school going children. Parents who live in the vicinity have felt this need and therefore our cr\u00e8che is more a matter of convenience for working parents and we are happy to supplement this need. \u00a0<\/p>

We have hand-picked the people who supervise and take care of the children in the creche. \u00a0<\/p>

The facilities we provide for children are –\u00a0proper sleeping arrangements for the children to rest during noon times and warming facilities during the lunch period.\u00a0 Children are made to wash and clean themselves once they return from school. Our staff supervises this everyday. The numbers at our cr\u00e8che is limited, as we believe that every child needs the importance that they would otherwise get at home. Our cr\u00e8che is \u2013 \u2018Home away from home\u2019<\/em><\/p>

The creche at The Blue Umbrella Preschool is a clean, comfortable and hygienic environment along with child friendly staff. Our timings are from 8.45 am to 7.30 pm five days of the week (from Monday to Friday), on important government holidays, the cr\u00e8che will be closed, however on request from the parents we are flexible<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Bharatnatyam is one of the most popular classical Indian dances. WE follow the Kalakshetra style of Bharatnatyam. Formats of Bharatnatyam consist of Alarippu (invocation), JathiSwaram (note combinations) Shabdam (notes and lyrics), Varnam(a combination of pure dance and abhinaya) lighter items like Padams and Javalis and finally the thillana (again pure dance). Bharatnatyam is considered the mother art of most of the other classical dances of India and inspires many art forms like sculpture, painting, and icon-making.<\/p>

This is an ongoing class. Children from the age of 5 years are eligible to join. Examinations ate also conducted for the different levels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Freestyle carries a significant social importance. Every teacher has their own story about how freestyle has helped instill boys and girls with self-confidence and even alleviate trauma caused by bullying. Parents of students at are grateful that,\u00a0owing to the training and dedication involved, the children are more focused.\u00a0<\/p>

When asked what they enjoy most about freestyle, all of them list the makeup, hair and costumes. \"\"Carnatic music is traditionally taught according to the system formulated by\u00a0PurandaraDasa. This involves\u00a0varisais\u00a0(graded exercises),\u00a0alankaras\u00a0(exercises based on the seven talas),\u00a0geetams\u00a0or simple songs, and\u00a0Swarajatis. After the student has reached a certain standard,\u00a0varnams\u00a0are taught and later, the student learns\u00a0kritis. It typically takes several years of learning before a student is adept enough to perform at a concert.<\/p>

The learning texts and exercises are more or less uniform across all the South Indian states. The learning structure is arranged in increasing order of complexity. The lessons start with the learning of the\u00a0saralivarisai\u00a0(solfege\u00a0set to a particular raga).This is an ongoing class. Children from the age of 4 years are eligible to join. In this age martial arts is form which has to be known by every individual so as to protect themselves from various miscreants.<\/p>

The School of Martial Art Trust, and Yokahamaainternational karate do, was started in the year 1978 by RenshiShihabudeen, 7th dan blackbelt , International Karate Academy (IKA). Actively learning to play an instrument can help a child’s academic achievement. There’s little doubt that learning to play a\u00a0musical\u00a0instrument is great for developing brains. \"\"The Blue Umbrella Preschool conducts annual summer camps called The Summer Splash<\/strong> at its premises during the months of April-May. Summer is a time where our children are free to use their hands and legs and get creative. The motive is to \u2018get dirty\u2019 and get down on your knees to enjoy the sun, sand and indulge in the world of colours and water. \u00a0<\/p>

We works on a well knitprogramme to see that all the needs are met in this one month that children are enrolled. We teach children to paint, cut with a scissor, make interesting things out of waste, do non-fire cooking and indulge the child in<\/p>

all that is a strict no-no at home. We also have a physical activity segment whereout door games are taught. It teaches the child to be a sport and enjoy games with friends. Fellowship and co-operation is also the key element of a conducting a Summer camp at the Blue Umbrella.\u00a0<\/p>

The programme aims towards fulfilling the wishes of children who want to indulge in all sorts of fun activities and we at the Blue Umbrella make it happen. Story telling is two pronged \u2013 To help a child become imaginative and let the child\u2019s mind \u2018dream-a-dream\u2019. To be inspired by nature and respect all that comes along with it. The second aim being to \u2018listen\u2019 and not just \u2018hear\u2019. To instill, the right strength of mind and character in a child. Listening can lead to so many opportunities and ideas in a child. \u00a0<\/p>
