The Lower Kindergarten (LKG) Level is the third stage of preparatory section. The child is quite independent. A class where there is a continuous flow of questions to which the teacher has to be prepared to provide answers. The teacher becomes the role model for the child and anything that is not compatible with what the teacher says is immediately retorted with “my teacher said…” The child’s mind is like a repository of questions to which the environment should be able to provide answers. Language development is quite advanced and peer group interaction is versatile. The child can multi-task and adapt to new ways of teaching and instructions. The teacher here strives to be there for the child always as this is what is expected by the wards. The portions covered at school ranges from environmental work to mathematics to writing, conversation and creative work balance.
