Children start to explore the world around them as soon as they are born. At The Blue Umbrella, the play group curriculum enables children to continue their exploration.

In Nursery, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem solving in a fun filled but purposeful manner.

Elementary habits are acquired at this age, and children begin to relate to others most often in their school environment. Playgrounds and the cafeteria are daily educational opportunities to begin learning how to interact with others.
