The Blue Umbrella is a truly excellent pre-school. The teachers are the perfect combination of kindness; warmth and toughness; and they work with the whole child -- mentally, emotionally and physically. This holistic approach has made my daughter very confident of herself and she's able to differentiate between right and wrong and very often demands a reason for anything she should or shouldn't do. She is just 4 years old. The teachers and the assistants are ever present and easily approachable. They stress the importance for balance in all learning and this has been the student's factor for success. The teachers and assistants are skilled, thoughtful, sensible, and a pleasure to work with. They know just how and when to encourage and when to push, though never too much. The Headmistress; Ms. Lavanya Thangamani is an outstanding master of her craft; incredibly bright with a treasure trove of child related activities and knowledge; expert in running the daily school processes and mentoring that's required at every step of the way. The manner in which the school has designed my daughter's nursery curriculum; activity schedule and early morning exercises is something that exceeded my expectations. This pre-school is one of the oldest in this area; the real deal; and is the standard by which any pre-school should be measured. I recommend this Pre-school and Activity center.
